When a student needs a meal, the network should be able to respond.

BEACON funds and coordinates meals through local restaurant and delivery partners while schools and trusted guidance counselors help identify students discreetly.

Sometimes dignity looks like a uniform.

BEACON works with local providers to supply school clothing and essential items respectfully and discreetly. The initial uniform package is designed around two school shirts and one pair of pants for an identified student.

We notice — so they don't have to be noticed.

A home should be able to function like a home.

For qualified households, BEACON can provide targeted, time-limited support paid directly to verified landlords or vendors where appropriate. Help can also include essential appliances, cooking gas or materials for minor home repairs.

We are not trying to pay everyone's bills. We are trying to prevent manageable problems from becoming life-changing crises.

Opportunity should be experienced.

Young people can participate in real environments alongside local businesses and entrepreneurs — working, volunteering, learning and gaining exposure to how businesses and professions actually operate.

BEACON wants young people participating, not simply listening.

BEACON does not have to be every solution.

When a need requires expertise BEACON does not provide, our role is to connect people with credible professionals and organizations that do. The goal is to make sure the right solution can be reached.
